Gorgeous original plank flooring

This particular project has random widths in 5.5″, 7.5″ and 9.5″ planks. The flooring shown in these photos had a light screening and a wax finish. Above all, it is very durable and could be the center piece of your home for generations.

Beauty In The Saw Marks

The project in the photo shows the Thresher Flooring in widths from 3.5″-8.5″. The finish is a matte polyurethane. Because of the finish it has a more natural, less shiny appearance. In other words, it will have a more “original” look with a natural looking, low gloss finish.

The flooring to the right is all 4.5″ widths and gives a rustic charm to this cabin.

We take vintage reclaimed barn boards and don’t remove any of the original aged surface. When we mill the planks we leave all of the original character and patina on the faces of the planks.

With our unique process, we brush the surface of all planks to prepare it to be run into flooring. This cleans the faces and also smooths it a bit.

This leaves all of the original aged patina, saw marks and other signs of previous use.

This flooring looks very similar to the old barn thresher floors that show many years of wear and age.

We can also make stair parts and baseboard to compliment this flooring. In conclusion, it is both gorgeous and durable making it a floor that will last.
