At times it can be a challenge staying on top of the demand for our mantels and barn beams. Our production system wasn’t set up well to handle many individually created items like this.
We made some changes to hopefully be better able to help our customers in finding that perfect mantel! We’ve assigned this production part of our business to one of our talented reclaimed wood artisans, Tobi. He has a long background in custom woodworking from his home in Germany and plans on being with us for the next few years.

Sawn to size with fresh surfaces on all four sides, this project turned out great.
These antique barn beams still have a nice aged appearance even though the original exterior surfaces of the beam have freshly planed faces.
