Reclaimed Skip Planed
Here is our Antique Skip-Planed Wall Cladding on a few different accent walls. Like the name says, it comes from all different hardwoods and softwoods for a very unique look. As you can see, it could work well with any décor from rustic to a modern style home. This is a great option for that rustic feel. It also works nicely on ceilings. Widths shown are random about 2″- 6″ but we have it available up to 11″ at times.
This product is carefully straightened on both edges, while one face is skip-planed to preserve its original character and patina. As a result, the finished thickness will be approximately 3/8″, maintaining both durability and rustic appeal.
The photos show the light and dark tomes mixed throughout the planks. The darker areas are usually the original character and patina and the lighter areas are where it has been planed “clean”. This gives the wall planks a nice combination of character and allows it to go in rooms with different decor and styles.
This can be used on a single accent wall or on all the wall in a home or room. It also works well on ceilings, especially when you want a nice contrast between existing wall material and the ceilings.
